Avery at the Arboretum

It's been a while since I posted (other than my own kiddos recently), so this is a bigger one.

I met up with little Avery and her mommy last week at the Arboretum for her 8 month pictures. It was extra fun to see what all she was doing because she is just 5 days older than my Luke. She and her mom were great sports considering the morning heat and the fact they had just flown in from their home in Kansas City the day before! Avery was just a doll and her mom brought the cutest clothes and accessories for the session. Love it!

8 month olds are full-blown into the stage of grabbing anything they can reach and sticking it in their mouths. Avery was no exception. Rocks, leaves, flowers... she tasted them all even though we tried to stop her! I think she is tasting a little pebble here.



Yes, yet another little one in the Matilda Jane line! They didn't have any pants in her size, so Avery's grandmother bought the coordinating fabric and MADE them just for her! How wonderful is that!?



Avery has had her picture made in this tutu since birth, so we had to capture that. So cute!

"Ummmm, yes? Did you call me? I'm working on climbing these stairs here!"

We took some really cute shots of Avery and her mom, but I had to promise not to post them. I figure this one is somewhat in cognito and I could slip it in... I wish I could post the others because they are so sweet! Maybe later with permission? :)
