Flashback... again!

Another post from 2009 of a great family of 5 in Longview. Wish I had gotten more either inside of or including their truly fabulous home - I believe it was built back in the early 1900s and is a historic, Spanish-style on the exterior, but a complete renovation inside, blending old and new. So very unique and interesting. Must be nice to be a designer, huh? :)

Plenty of silly times, as you will see!

I am really missing being behind the camera right now, but we are in the midst of a move and remodeling, so something has to take the back burner! I am really excited to unveil some *NEW* things for my business, and will be offering some specials and promos when the time is right! Hopefully sooner than later.

A little time away...

Just a short note to say that I am taking a few weeks off from photography in order to take care of some stuff here, around the house. Not to worry, I WILL be back blogging current work after the 2nd or 3rd week of February. In the meantime I might try to post some sneaks of some of the sessions from last fall that I wasn't able to share previously.

During this time I am still booking sessions for the spring. I've already got clients booked all the way out to May, so it's not too early to get on my calendar if you're interested. There are some BIG changes coming for my business, and I can't wait to share it all soon! :)

Toodles!

Happy New Year!

To kick things off for 2010, I decided I'd show off one of my favorite sessions from last October. His grandma booked these photos as a surprise for his parents. Being a 7 year old boy, he couldn't keep it under his hat all the way from mid-October till Christmas, but I still kept the photos off the blog just in case! I just loved how these turned out. Needless to say, he gave me plenty to work with!

One of my professional printing labs came out with these new products sometime last year, and I just had to have some as client samples. They are the PERFECT BRAG BOOK for any proud mom or grandma's purse!!!

These are called accordion books, and come in identical sets of 3 for $75. Images run both sides, front and back. You can use horizontal or vertical images. These particular ones were done with metallic covers and pearl paper on the interior. I can add whatever text you like anywhere on the book. The front and back are magnetic, so it will stay closed inside your purse, or just when you're not showing it off! :)
